How is the PNG size chosen?

The SVG intrinsic size is multiplied by your scale choice. Very large outputs are capped at 4096px on the longest edge.

Will transparency be preserved?

Yes when you choose a transparent background. White or black fills the canvas before drawing the SVG.

Why are fonts or images missing?

SVGs that link to http(s) fonts or images cannot load those assets from a local file. Embed assets inline for best results.

Do filters and effects always match?

Advanced SVG filters depend on the browser engine. Simple icons and illustrations usually convert faithfully.
