FAQ

Answers about the free plan, accounts, payments, browser privacy, and what Easy24 will not ship. Longer legal wording lives on Security and the Privacy Policy.

Easy24 is a browser-first toolbox operated by Mena Soft. Most questions fall into four buckets: whether it is free, whether files leave your device, when Pro checkout opens, and why some converters are missing on purpose. If you need a human reply, use Contact.

General

Is Easy24 free?

Yes. Every current tool works on the free plan. Some actions have daily caps, file-size limits, or page caps shown on the tool page before you download. Unlimited free use applies where the page shows no daily quota. You can start without creating an account.

Do I need an account?

Not today. Sign-in and Pro checkout are planned. Until then, free-plan fairness relies on lightweight quota cookies rather than logins. That keeps the barrier low while still preventing unlimited abuse of heavy tools.

Why is there no PDF to Word?

Faithful Word, Excel, or PowerPoint conversion needs a serious server pipeline or a huge desktop engine. A brittle client-side demoware page would look like a feature and waste people’s time. We will not ship a broken converter just to fill a keyword. Use tools that already work well in the browser, or export from the original office app when layout fidelity matters.

English and Turkish. How do locales work?

The site ships /en and /tr with matching tool pages, guides, and legal copy. Language lives in the URL. Switch from the header when you want the other locale; tool behavior stays the same.

Payments

When can I pay for Pro?

Stripe checkout opens soon. The Pricing page shows the planned offer: higher limits, fewer watermarks where they apply, and an ad-light workspace. Until checkout is live, the free plan remains the way to use the tools.

Do you take tips?

An optional one-time tip may appear in the footer to help keep the public tools free. Tips are separate from Pro subscriptions and do not unlock Pro features by themselves.

Security and privacy

Where are my PDFs processed?

In your browser for current tools. Easy24 does not upload the file to finish merge, compress, convert, and similar jobs. See the Security page for the architecture explanation and the Privacy Policy for formal wording.

Is Unlock a password cracker?

No. Unlock only saves an openable file without certain owner-restriction flags when the document can already be read. If you do not know the password, the tool will not guess it. We will not add a cracker.

What does Easy24 store about me?

Quota cookies identify an anonymous device for daily free-plan counters. Page requests look like any public website to hosting and ad partners. Your document contents are not uploaded for today’s processing tools. Contact info@mena.software for privacy requests.

Who publishes Easy24?

Mena Soft operates Easy24 at easy24.tools. About and Contact list the publisher email. Legal policies name the same operator so reviewers are not left with an anonymous site.

Using the tools

A tool rejected my file. Why?

Check format, size, and page caps on that tool page. Many converters accept modern formats only (for example .docx rather than legacy .doc). Free-plan daily limits reset on a rolling day window shown in the workspace.

Where do I find how-to steps?

Each tool page includes a guide with steps, features, notes, and FAQ for that tool. This site FAQ covers product-wide questions. The Getting started guide explains the shared privacy and quota model once.
