How it works
Add a PDF
Select or drop one PDF up to 10 MB. The file stays on this device and is never uploaded.
Choose how to create files
All pages: one PDF per page. Selected: pick pages via thumbnails or a range: each becomes its own file. Every N: fixed-size chunks as separate PDFs. Optionally set a name prefix.
Download PDF or ZIP
Tap Split. One part downloads as a PDF; multiple parts download as a ZIP built in this tab, with progress shown while files are created.

Questions
What does Split PDF into Files do?
It turns pages of a PDF into separate PDF files in your browser. You can export every page, only selected pages, or chunks of every N pages, then download a single PDF or a ZIP.
How is this different from Split PDF?
Split PDF can extract pages into one combined PDF or split by range groups. Split into Files always produces separate files (one per page or per chunk), which is ideal when you need many individual PDFs.
Can I choose only some pages?
Yes. Use Selected mode, click thumbnails or type a range like 1,3,5-7. Each chosen page becomes its own PDF in the ZIP.
How does Every N work?
Enter how many pages each output file should have. A 10-page PDF with N=2 becomes five files of two pages each. N=1 matches extract-all-pages.
How are files named?
Set a prefix in the sidebar (defaults to the uploaded file name). Files use zero-padded page numbers, for example invoice-01.pdf or invoice-03-04.pdf.
What if a PDF is password-protected?
Encrypted or locked PDFs may fail. Unlock the file first with the PDF Unlock tool, then split again.

When to use Split PDF into Files
Teams and individuals use Split PDF into Files for everyday workflows where speed and privacy matter more than a feature-heavy suite. Turn PDF pages into separate files in your browser. Typical jobs include preparing a packet for email, cleaning a scan before printing, or adjusting pages before a deadline, all without sending the document to a third-party inbox. Compared with installing a desktop suite only for split pdf into files, a dedicated page keeps the interface small and the intent obvious. Quota cookies may still track anonymous daily free-plan uses. That is different from receiving your file bytes or pasted text. The free plan allows 5 uses per day and files up to about 10 MB; limits appear before download. If a free-plan limit applies, the workspace shows remaining uses before you commit a download, so you are not surprised after a long wait.
