What is Crop PDF?
Crop PDF trims unwanted margins from pages without uploading. Crop PDF is part of Easy24’s PDF toolbox. What does Crop PDF do?
It trims margins from PDF pages by shrinking the visible page area, useful for removing scanner borders or extra whitespace.
What are PDF points?
Points are the PDF unit of measure. 72 points equal 1 inch. A 36 pt margin removes about half an inch from each included edge.
Uniform vs Per side?
Uniform applies the same inset on all four edges. Per side lets you trim only the top, only the left, or any combination.
Can I crop only some pages?
Yes. Click thumbnails or type a range. Uncropped pages stay unchanged in the output PDF.
Does this delete content permanently?
It changes the crop and media boxes so viewers see a smaller page. Content outside the box is clipped, not rasterized.
What if a PDF is password-protected?
Encrypted or locked PDFs may fail. Unlock the file first with the PDF Unlock tool, then crop again.
