What does PDF to CSV do?
It reads selectable text from PDF pages and saves it as a CSV file you can open in spreadsheet software. Column breaks are guessed from text layout, not from the original table object.
Will scanned PDFs work?
Only if the PDF already contains selectable text. Image only scans export no rows unless you run OCR elsewhere first.
Is this the same as PDF to Excel?
No. This tool outputs plain CSV from text extraction. It does not create an Excel workbook with sheets, formulas, or preserved table formatting.
Which parsing mode should I use?
Table columns works best when values line up in columns on the page. Text lines works better when each paragraph or list item should become its own row.
Can I export only some pages?
