How it works
Upload a PDF
Drop your file. Title, author, subject, keywords, creator, and producer load from the document info dictionary. Creation and modification dates show in the preview.
Edit document properties
Change any field in the sidebar. The preview panel highlights updated values and shows what was there before. Reset restores the loaded values; Clear fields empties the form without downloading.
Save or strip metadata
Click Save metadata to download an updated PDF. Use Strip all metadata for a clean copy with empty document info. Useful before publishing or sharing externally.

Questions
What is PDF metadata?
Hidden document properties stored in the PDF info dictionary: title, author, subject, keywords, creator, producer, and timestamps. Viewers and search tools read them; they usually do not print on the page.
Will editing metadata change page content?
No. Only the document info dictionary changes. Text, images, and layout stay the same.
What does Strip all metadata do?
It writes a new PDF with empty title, author, subject, keywords, creator, and producer fields. A quick privacy pass before sharing.
Can I remove only some fields?
Yes. Clear individual inputs or use Clear fields, then save. You do not have to strip everything.
What are creator and producer?
Creator is the application that authored the original content; producer is the tool that generated the PDF file. Many exports fill these automatically: clear them if you want fewer software fingerprints.
