Easy24 is designed so your documents do not need to travel to a server just to be merged, compressed, or converted. Here is what that means in practice for users and reviewers.
Most online PDF and image sites ask you to upload a file, process it in the cloud, then download a result and wait for the server copy to expire. Easy24 takes the opposite default for the tools we ship today: processing happens in the browser. The product goal is not a marketing slogan. It is to reduce the number of places your private document can appear.
Files you drop into PDF and image tools, and text you paste into text or converter tools, are processed locally for normal use. We do not receive a copy of that content as part of finishing the job. We still recommend you download results you need and close tools when finished, the same hygiene you would use with any local editor.

The download you save is generated locally. Easy24’s servers deliver the website and ads on the free plan; they do not need your document contents to complete those tools.
We are not claiming zero telemetry forever. Quota cookies enforce free-plan fairness. Standard web hosting and ad partners may see page requests the way any public site does. Encrypting an upload and deleting it later is better than keeping uploads forever. But never uploading is a stronger default for private contracts, IDs, and medical scans. Easy24 chooses that default whenever the tool can run locally. When a feature truly cannot work without a server, we prefer not to ship a fake client-side demo. Current tools do not upload files to process them. There is no server-side document store to delete after a timeout, because the file never left your browser for that job. Always check the tool page if a future feature changes this model. We will say so clearly.
Not yet. We do not claim certificates we do not hold. The privacy promise for today’s tools comes from architecture: local processing, plus a short honest cookie and ad story on the free plan.

No. Unlock only rebuilds a file you can already open, removing owner-restriction flags when the library can read the document. We will not add a cracker or a guessing service.
