What is HEIC?

HEIC is the photo format many iPhones use by default. It saves space compared with JPEG, but Windows PCs and many websites prefer JPG or PNG.

Does this upload my photos?

No. Decoding and conversion run in your browser. Easy24 does not receive the file.

Can I convert Live Photos?

You get the primary still image. The short video portion of a Live Photo is not exported here.

JPEG, PNG, or WebP — which should I pick?

JPEG is best for sharing and email. PNG keeps maximum detail and transparency. WebP is often smaller in modern browsers and apps that support it.

Why is decoding slow the first time?

The HEIC decoder loads once in this tab. The first file can take a few seconds; later files on the same page are usually faster.

Is there a daily limit?

The free plan allows 5 conversions per day and files up to 10 MB. Opening a preview does not count against the daily quota.

How is this different from Image Converter?

Image Converter starts from formats your browser already displays (JPG, PNG, WebP, and similar). HEIC Converter is for Apple HEIC/HEIF files that most browsers cannot open without a dedicated decoder.
