How it works

1

Paste or import text

Type in the box or import a .txt / .md file. Nothing leaves this device.

2

Find a voice

Filter by language or gender, search by name, then preview a row. Set speed, pitch, and volume.

3

Play, pause, or stop

Speak starts playback. Pause holds the place. Stop cancels the utterance. Free plan counts each new play, not pause or resume.

What is browser text to speech?

Text to speech (TTS) turns written words into spoken audio. This page uses the Web Speech API so the voice stays on the device. It is useful for proofreading, listening to notes, and checking how a sentence sounds, without uploading the draft.

  • Preview a voice before reading the full text

Questions

What does Text to Speech do?

It reads the text in the box out loud with a voice installed on your computer or phone. Easy24 does not send the text to a cloud model.

How do I use Text to Speech?

Paste or import text, filter voices, preview one if you want, then press Speak. Use Pause to hold, Resume to continue, and Stop to cancel.

Where do the voices come from?

From the browser and operating system. Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Firefox ship different sets. Install an extra language pack in the OS to add more voices.

Why is my language missing?

The device has no voice for that language. On Windows open Speech settings. On macOS check Accessibility, Spoken Content. On Android and iOS add a language in system TTS settings, then reload this page.

Can I download an audio file?

No. The Web Speech API plays through the speakers and does not return an MP3 or WAV. For a file you need a different recorder or a cloud TTS service.

Why does long text stop in Chrome?

Some Chromium builds cancel a long utterance after about 15 seconds. This page briefly pauses and resumes to keep playback going. If it still cuts off, split the text.

Is my text sent to a server?

No. Synthesis runs in the browser. Easy24 does not receive the text.

Is there a daily limit?

The free plan allows 20 new plays per day. Pause, resume, and stop do not use an extra play. The counter sits above the workspace.
