How it works

1

Paste or type text

Drop a sentence, a list, or a few lines into the left box. Hit Load sample for a quick demo.

2

Pick a mode

Characters flips every letter. Words reverses word order per line. Lines reverses the order of rows. Each Word reverses the letters inside every word. Mirror flips everything and maps letters to Unicode upside-down glyphs.

3

Copy the result

The original stays on the left. Click Copy on the right panel to grab the reversed text.

What is a text reverser?

A text reverser changes the order of characters, words, or lines in a passage. Writers use it for puzzles, palindrome checks, backwards lyrics, and creative wordplay. This tool adds two extra modes: reversing the letters inside each word while keeping word order, and a Mirror mode that combines reversal with Unicode upside-down glyph substitution for a visual flip effect.

Why use this tool

  • Five reverse modes: characters, words, lines, each word, and mirror flip
  • Mirror mode uses real Unicode upside-down glyphs (ɐ, ǝ, ʇ…)
  • Original text is never overwritten — both sides stay visible
  • Works with emoji and most Unicode letters
  • No upload, no account, no daily cap

Questions

What does Text Reverser do?

It flips text in five ways: every character backwards, word order, line order, each word's letters reversed, or a full Unicode mirror where characters are replaced by upside-down lookalikes.

What is the difference between Characters and Each Word?

Characters reverses the entire passage as one sequence. Each Word keeps words in the same order but reverses the letters inside every individual word.

How does Mirror mode work?

Mirror reverses the character order and then replaces each letter with its upside-down Unicode equivalent — for example 'hello' becomes 'ollǝɥ'. Not every character has a Unicode mirror glyph; unmapped characters stay as-is.

Will emoji reverse correctly?

Most single emoji reverse as whole characters. Combined emoji (family, flags, skin-tone modifiers) may split because they are composed of several code points.

Is my text sent to a server?

No. All reversing runs locally in this tab. Nothing is uploaded.

Is there a daily limit?

No. There is no usage cap on this tool.
