Tune fps and width
Pick 8–15 fps for smoothness vs size, and 240–480px width. Check the frame count and output dimensions before converting.
Convert and download
Watch the progress bar while frames are captured, then save the .gif file.
What is Video to GIF?
A browser-based GIF maker that samples video frames and encodes an animated GIF. Video to GIF is part of Easy24’s conversion toolbox. Your input stays in this tab for normal use; Easy24 does not upload that content to process it. This tool has no daily free-plan cap; use it as often as you need. Typical flow: Drop MP4, WebM, or MOV up to 25 MB. Scrub to set start, pick length, fps, and width, then download the GIF. Related tools and reverse conversions appear on the page when a follow-up step is common.

Questions
Why is my GIF limited to 8 seconds?
Frame capture runs entirely in the browser. An 8-second cap keeps encoding fast and reliable on phones and laptops.
Can I keep audio in the GIF?
No. The GIF format has no audio track: sound is dropped automatically.
Why does the GIF look grainy?
GIFs use a 256-color palette. Fast motion, gradients, and high resolution sources may show banding or dithering.

Paste carefully: whitespace and encoding choices change the output. Use the reverse tool on the page when you need to go back. Search results often mix upload-based converters with local tools. Read the privacy note on this page so you know which model you are using. On Easy24, normal use of this tool keeps processing in your browser. That means the content you paste or the file you pick does not need to be uploaded to finish the job. This page has no daily free-plan cap, so you can run it as often as you need.
