Is this a lossless cut?
No. The browser re-encodes the selected segment with MediaRecorder. Quality is usually good for short clips, but it is not a frame-accurate ffmpeg trim.
What format is the output?
Usually WebM in Chrome and Edge. Safari may produce MP4. The exact codec depends on your browser.
How do I pick the cut points?
Scrub the preview to the right moment, then tap Start = playhead or End = playhead. You can also type seconds or use a quick preset.
