Questions

Are passwords stored or uploaded?

No. Generation uses crypto.getRandomValues in your browser. Easy24 never receives the passwords.

What does entropy mean?

Entropy estimates unpredictability in bits from length and alphabet size. Aim for about 70+ bits for important accounts.

When should I exclude ambiguous characters?

When someone may type the password by hand. Removing 0/O, 1/l/I and similar slightly reduces the alphabet — add a couple of characters to compensate.

Is pronounceable as strong as random?

Per character, no. Use a longer pronounceable password, or switch to Random / Passphrase for high-value accounts.

Is there a daily limit?

No. This tool is unlimited on the free plan and does not require an account.
