What is an online metronome?
An online metronome clicks at a steady tempo in beats per minute (BPM) so you can keep time in the browser. This one runs from 30 to 300 BPM with no download.
What BPM range can I use?
30 to 300 BPM. You can type 30 or 300. Anything lower or higher is clamped to that range.
Why is there no sound?
Tap start once so the browser allows audio. Keep the tab open. Check the device is not muted.
What does BPM mean?
Beats per minute. 60 BPM is one click per second. 120 BPM is two clicks per second.
How does tap tempo work?
Tap a few times in the tempo you want. The metronome averages the last taps and sets BPM. Beat 1 of the bar you picked (2, 3, 4, or 6) is louder.
Do I need a metronome app?
