What does Markdown ⇄ HTML do?

It converts Markdown (including GFM features) into safe HTML, and converts a practical HTML subset back into Markdown.

Is the HTML safe to preview?

Yes. Scripts, event handlers, and unsafe URLs are stripped before preview. The same sanitizer powers Markdown Preview.

Will every HTML page become perfect Markdown?

No. Complex layouts, CSS, and uncommon tags are flattened. It works best for article-like HTML with headings, paragraphs, lists, and links.

Does it support tables and code fences?

Markdown → HTML supports GFM tables and fenced code. HTML → Markdown recovers pre/code blocks and basic structure.

Is my text sent to a server?

No. Conversion runs entirely in this tab.

Is there a daily limit?

No. This tool has no daily cap.

Do I need an account?
